How many whares are there?

There are four separate whares, all of them are private with slightly different views and have their own outdoor bath. They are designed to accommodate two people, and each has a king bed that cannot be split into two singles. You can select a particular whare to stay in when you book. If you are wanting a group booking, you will need to book more than one whare. All whares are non-smoking.

What is the nightly rate?

When is check in and check out?

Our check in time is 3pm and check out is 11am.

Self Check in

2-3 days prior to your stay you will receive check-in instructions, and these will be sent to you via email. There is no reception on site, but we are contactable at all times.

What is the cancellation policy

Cancellations for reservations are not refundable when they are;

· Within 7 days of your stay.

· All no-shows will be charged the full amount as booked. No refund is given if you decide to leave a day early.

· Refunds will only be processed to the payment source received and within 10 days.

· Covid cancellations - If you need to isolate or if there is a lockdown due to covid pandemic we will offer to put bookings forward to a new date (provide a credit).

There are no refunds if you have booked via a 3rd party. Their cancellation policy will apply.

Is Ngā Whare Mānatu wheelchair accessible?

One whare is accessible, and meets building code 4121. This includes a park outside the whare, accessible shower with handrails and a fold down wall seat, floating vanity and accessible toileting facilities. The outdoor bath does not allow for limited mobility.

Please notify us at the time of booking if you wish to stay in our accessible room.

What are your dining options?

Platters are available on request and include a pre-dinner option $45 and a dinner option $80. There are evening meal options in Geraldine which is a 2-minute drive.

What is included in Kitchen facilities

Our kitchenettes have a small fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, and Nespresso machine. You will also find:

· plates / bowls
· cutlery
· coffee cups/water and wine glasses/ flutes
· salt and pepper
· chopping board
· platter board

Bathroom Facilities 

Each whare has its own bathroom with large shower, toilet and vanity. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and body lotion. Towels, face cloths and hand towels are provided.

Blinds and Skylight Blinds

All whares have blinds to block out the sun and light if needed. The skylights also have blinds that are remote controlled.

Heating and cooling in whares

All whares have heat pumps and underfloor heating.
